Direct Database Access is designed for full application access to our Oracle database on cloud servers (DBaaS hosting by Amazon).

It provides a high-performance, high-availability, high-reliability and easy to use data access solution.

Our database is running on a cloud computing platform hosted by Amazon Web Services. It runs on high-performance machines to provide quick query response time compared to most in-house databases. Data is highly available and reliable with data being backed up at regular intervals. All management of data is handled by IES to provide you with easy access to the data you need.

The database deployed in Amazon Relational Database Service is Oracle 11g Standard edition one. You can browse the data using any third party query tools, for example, MS Excel, Toad, SQL developer, Squirrel, etc. IES also provides a free query tool that allows you to access our cloud database easily.
